Helpfull Tips Thread!

Hi recently on this forum I posted a thread asking how to label gold boxes so that I could use them for my museum. I had done this a long time ago, but foregot the way to do this. I went around the npc's trying to buy the tool, but finally figured out that this was created by using the tinkering skill.

I thought it would be nice if we could have a post dedicated to players posting helpfull information for other players. This could be a post where they had a problem figuring some thing out and would like to help others. I think that this would be especially helpfull to new players or old players who are trying new things.

Topics could range from a number of area's quests, where to find something etc etc. If you have a question feel free to post it here too! I kinda get tired of all the ranting (not that it is not warrented), but I believe that this could be both helpfull and positive for the game.

Well that's a good point, but thier are a number of players myself included, never even thought about going to check the new players forums. I've been playing this game "coughs" almost since beta and figure being a vet I would never need to go thier to look for answers .

Well, I think it's a good idea myself.

We do have quite a few returning players that check UHall first, or are more comfortable here from their time playing before. It couldn't hurt to have one thread for tips, questions, and answers. Perhaps include a link to the Player's Corner in the thread as well.

I wouldn't mind having something a bit more positive to read while I catch up on other issues in the 'Hall', hehe.

Ahh IC that but I think what would even be better is to have a sticky at the top of this forum stating "have a question concerning the game try this forum" , with a link to that site. But tbh when i have a question I tend to post here on the Uhall thread simply because it gets the most attention out of all the forums. But I understand what your saying rolleyes:

True, true T'Amon. *grins* I sure hope you and your Son are getting a break from all that lag...I know how frustrated you both must be.

I do love the Players Corner. Now that I think about it, I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on all the helpful folks there. A thread in UHall is but a poor substitute! *nods*

I guess there are times when I wish we had some more positive outlooks expressed over here in UHall, especially since our Devs need encouragment too!
