Since many of you don't know how this software works, I thought I'd start a thread where myself and some of you can give pointers.
I'll start off with Post Deletion...
Moderators can't "Delete" posts. They can MOVE them elsewhere, but where they usually get moved is the Evidence Locker, with the rulebreakers' posts.
However, a poster can easily delete his own post.
If one edits their post, you will see the "Go Advanced" button, just like one sees when doing a quick reply. Click it to get to the full editor.
The top section of the editing page is the means to delete the post.
It looks like this for the first post in a thread...
"To delete this message, check the appropriate option below and then click the 'Delete this Message' button.
Note: deleting this message will result in the deletion of the entire thread because this is the first post in the thread."
Below that, and above the message to be edited will be a selection box to choose either "Do not delete" or "Delete", and a text box to input a reason for the deletion.
