Help With Skill Tutor Statue.....

Problem is either im doing something wrong or this thing is glitched. First i have the tutor statue in my backpack and i double click to turn on, it then gives the message that it is on. But when i go to put on the floor to lock down it goes back to (off) the second it hits the floor. Anyone got any info on this or again am i just doing something wrong?? Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks.

Whenever it's "picked up", it turns off.
Not sure why, but it makes it easy to turn it of, when you know you're fighting the right critters.

Skill tutor messages for weapon skill/tactics/bushido/parry/heal/anat (or similar), plus lightning strike spam, is a little too much

As I understand it, the statue only works when in your backpack.

doubble click asx to turn it on then drop on floor and lock it down and click ok

Maybe because they were thinking it was the Personal Attendant? Who knows, I got one of those Skill Tutor Statue in the keep [daughter's account] so when she or granddaughter returns to play they have it there to help then relearn the game.

That was thoughtful of you to pick them one up. But it's not just for players (re)learning the game. I have one, and it never leaves my backpack unless it's dropped in a secure crate while switching between characters. My fisherman find's it a huge help finding those spots optimal for gains.

I just tried every link I found in this thread, they all worked for me just fine. Maybe you caught the server napping or something?

Well to answer the question of why i wanted it locked down (on) was because i didnt exactly know how it was used. Also it is mainly for deco purposes only for me and everything else i have locked down with an option of being (on) is all (on) so that would be the only one set to (off). Oh well call me CrAzY!

Ah, OCD. I can relate. They wouldn't waste any time tossing me into a padded cell if they saw how my bank boxes and secure containers were set up.
