Help with my roof please...

Why does the ridgeline of my house keep disappearing? It is keeping me from committing on the design. There are no orange highlighted areas on the whole design. I can complete the room and then change lvls and when I go back to the 4th level it has disappeared again. I have adjusted the height and tried different roof types with the same results. The gap on the lower roof tiles is intentional because it is 2 separate smaller house that connect on the 3rd lvl with a "skywalk" type thing. Thanks in advance.

Ok ... here's an update. I got the roof fixed. I changed the roof style and got it to work perfectly. But the house still will not commit. I went through all 4 levels and not a single highlighted tile in the whole structure. When I try to commit it still says its not structurally sound. Has anyone else ever experienced this kind of issue? I paged a gm last night and after I waited a whole hour I got a message saying that gm's cannot help me with this sort of matter.

I am not sure which client you are using to build your house but many, many times when I use the EC I have to then go back into the Classic Client to see what the problem is because it doesn't show in the Enhanced Client.

had that problem with a house once, I was certain there was no highlighted building element, and fussed about it for two days, then decided to take it apart piece by piece to see what the trouble was..... sure enough, there's the highlighted piece hidden by an eastern wall

Thanks for the replies...I took some more screenshots to show what I have going on. I am using the enhanced client because I cannot get the classic client to patch. This may be something totally obvious because this is my 1st house design.

**Not the section of roof over the "skywalk", I took the whole skywalk out and made it where the two structures no longer connected and it still would not commit.**

That is images of every floor, with and without walls. Can anyone see anything obvious?

I wish I could tell by looking at these photos...but its hard to see the error (old eyes). If at all possible I would suggest either starting over (I know, I know...I would only do it as a last resort) or try really hard to get the classic client working.

Like I said I don't know what it is, but I can always find the error in the classic but for some reason in EC it doesn't show up well for me. I really wish I had a better answer for you.
