Help soloing champ spawn

So I'd like to solo the Primeval lich spawn with my sampire and I just can't handle even the second level spawn. I just get slammed with so much damage from the shadow wisps that I cant seem to get into a situation where I can whirlwind to keep myself alive through it before I have to run, or am killed.

My build is pretty standard 120 mace/tact/parry/bush 100 anat/necro 60 chiv. Suit is nothing special, all 70, hci stam etc...

I don't even really care that much about the lich, I really just want to be able to work the spawn for the deco, but being able to finish it would be cool too. I feel like I could handle the boss honestly, its just the scad of wisps dumping on me that I just cant seem to get past.

I don't have a swamp pickle, would that help noticeably?

Swamp dragon makes a HUGE difference, 20% damage reduction when exceptional.

Do you find mana drain is preventing you from getting whirlwinds off? If so maybe put on resist and soulstone anat?

What is your HP at? really should be 130+.

I haven't solod the primeval lich spawn yet, but would imagine its the same attack plan as any spawn that is predominantly casters.

I don't know if I'm just inexperienced or what, but it just seems like Im dead before I can even get to a spot where I can hit more than one thing with a whirlwind. I'm not sure what my prob is. My hp is usually around that mark yeah. Little lower since im on siege and cant usually afford 100% intensities.

Ill have to get a swampy and see how that effects things.

Do you have a piece of blackrock in your pack? Rumor has is, and I believe it's true, that BR cuts through the wisps shield and allows you to directly attack them.

I will have to try it. The shield makes the very annoying.
