Exactly. I'd love to have it either be a max of 5m between gains, or even implement a "power hour" on Siege, where we can toggle our 1 hour a day on or off(IE use 25 minutes, toggle it off to go hunt, toggle back on and train 35 more) and gain up to our daily max in that hour, and after that one hour, RoT takes over.I voted no bc I don't think the caps are the biggest problem- it's the time between gains that is the issue. Right now, with the current times, won't it take over 5 hours to get all your gains in the 80's or 90's if you were working ONE skill? I say let's reduce the time between gains as well as the cap.
This is what I have been saying for a while. No reason if your working 1 skill (and yes it happens, change template, one last skill etc), to be on for 6hrs to get gains. It should not be removed but maybe make it 5 min all the way to 120
This would just encourage unattended macroing, which I'm sure you have no problem with. Lowering all timers to 5 min and keeping the daily caps would go a long way to making RoT less of a drag.just leave it alone then rot the time between gains are ok its the 3 points per day is what take so long
removing the daily cap would allow you to gain more faster but you all act like im outta line for suggesting something that would bring people
still gonna take 3 months to finsh a character off. thats what the problem is. I love rot but i want others to join the shard and unlike most of you im willing to make some sacrifices to do so if this ecourages afk macro'ing but increases the population 2x 3x the amount of today then im fine with it yes i want more people to this shard and speeding there gains up is one of the biggest ways to get thereThis would just encourage unattended macroing, which I'm sure you have no problem with. Lowering all timers to 5 min and keeping the daily caps would go a long way to making RoT less of a drag.
thats exactly what i was talking aboutI voted yes but my vote is only in part true, I think the time to wait is fine ,I just think the daily cap needs removed.
ROT was never a problem with me, as well as getting killed alot. Thats what i expected, but players anymore are not even close to the breed we are.So we have to at least try and find a link between them and us.Lets just keep thinking and come to some thing we can give the deves. I also think we need to keep asking the prodo players what they think as well and start a(save SP think tank)To me the biggest problem has nothing to do with ROT, people with maxxed out chars are leaving in droves, lets just get them to come back rather then overhall the entire system to get new people.
Guess my point is, if we cant keep our own people we have no chance at replacing them...
I dont know, we need something!
That's a pretty good idea. If Siege were a business we'd make a committee to find a solution. The people in it would need to be influential and motivated though.as well and start a(save SP think tank)![]()
Remember about a year ago when you all were picking up NEW books and trashing them? Goddamn that was some funny double whopper with cheese, huh? Well how funny is it now?I say yes...
It dont matter that we went threw hell when we did it or if its unfair, what matters now is the population of the shard....
For the stubern people that hate change well soon your gonna only be fighting AI monsters!
I'd say most older people are leaving cause they are bored fighting the same people over and over again cause its rare for a newcommer to stick with sp and maybe no cap to ROT will fix this problem...
I Just dont get why some people dont want to see new commers gain thier skills fast so they can get out on the field to fight (PvP)
Or when she would kill NEW and res kill them with VMP...Remember about a year ago when you all were picking up NEW books and trashing them? Goddamn that was some funny double whopper with cheese, huh? Well how funny is it now?
Are you ready? I am. I think its time for us ALL to stop pointing fingers and lets fix it. Other wise its over.I for one think we need to start thinking on anything and every thing that we could do to get the SAVE SP THINK TANK up and running. Here is the beginning: is there anyone that plays on prodo that could get a few of them to come here and give some info ,to what they like and don"t like about SP?That's a pretty good idea. If Siege were a business we'd make a committee to find a solution. The people in it would need to be influential and motivated though.
yea , thats a good one, it would help if i knew how to make them, I dont post on alot on other forums but , I do from time to time, Again ill ask you all to help out here....Another thing ive seen people like Freja doing is adding siege advertisements to their siggy. Wouldn't work if you only ever posted in the siege forums though lol.
