HELP Please with Bane Chosen

I released a fresh tamed Cu at Spirituality gate in Ilshenar and now I have this Bane Chosen -45. I didn’t know that I would get points from doing this. Is there anyway to get rid of these points so I am not attacked everytime I use the Spirituality gate in Ilshenar.

To reduce your negative rating w/ the Bane, kill the opposing monsters. Currently, I believe they're against the Meer.

it's still green to you for a few minutes after releasing it

Same thing happen to me. Just come in on the moongate above that one (Sacrifice) and avoid the Bane.
