help please! about to lose a house

just reactivated an account to refresh a house, as i do every 3-4 months. problem is the house is still condemned, even though i opened door and every thing. i also have the message that i can't place or recieve a house for the 7 day thing. is this a bug or something? or has something changed recently. i tried paging a gm and got the usual try the website reply.

You may find that you need to wait until the next time the server goes down, for the message to go away.

One other trick is to try changing the foundation style. That's worked for me on occasion.

i seem to recall the devs mentioning somthing about addressing this so you couldnt refresh houses this way a while ago but i hadnt heard anything about an actual change so hopefully for you they didnt fix this

From the housing FAQ:

"Note: Once you reactivate you’re your game account, it can take up to 24 hours for the houses on your account to reflect this change. In other words, if your house has become condemned because your account was inactive, it can take up to 24 hours after your account becomes reactivated for your house to become un-condemned."

Hopefully it wasn't already greatly worn when you reactivated the account.

no, was just slightly worn. i greatly appreciate the replies. ty all for easing my mind a little.
ill give it till the server down, and if that don't work i'll just start tryin to empty it in time hehe.

Aye get some sleep tonite and recheck it after server up.

If it the housing system, does not co operate with your reactivating within a day or( the full 24 hours ) from when you logged on reactivated, THEN start paging gms. Sounds like ya still have time anyhow.
The housing server IS supposed to catch up with reactivations within 24 hrs. so ya may see it all spanking new by 6am in the morning even..too soon for ya to pack up ye stuff or panic if ya only at slightly worn anyhow. hehe
