(Player Event) Help me work out the details for the next pvp & pve events.

What would everyone like to see for the next pve event? I was thinking the next thing we would host would be a champ spawn day, but im open to suggestions there.

As far as the next pvp event goes Im trying to work out the details for an escort event. Here is what I have so far.

- Teams of (5) will signup ahead of time
- If more than (2) teams signup we will run the event tournament style
- The set route will be from Minoc fel moongate to Yew fel moongate
* must stay on the road
- My brothers and I will play the escorted caravan and we will be able to
attack and defend ourselves in addition to the current defenders.
- Attackers will get points depending on who and how many of us they kill
* One of us will be naked and worth 5 points
* One will have gm crafted armor and be worth 6 points
* One will have all 70s and be worth 10 points

Thats what I have so far, what else should be specified? For example what are the Defenders allowed to and not allowed to do, Same for the Attackers.

I think the particapants should be the escorters and the EMs have an ambush set up for them with monsters and pvpers and let them defend the carivan and see if they can get it their.

The participants are the escorters. And this is a player run event so em help is not an option. But as those who participated in Find Fluffy will attest to, my events are worth participating in.

I appoligize I was mistaken in thinking it was an EM ran event. I was at the find fluffy I killed fluffy hehe and I did enjoy the event.

Right now what I need is suggestions for rules, and ideas ooon hooow things could be improved. Aside from that, I'm always in nneed of donations for rewards to support my events.. and you could start lookin for your team of 5 to sign up with =)

i just came to the shard so i wont be able to put together a team of 5 but i would be more then happy to be an attacker. as for the rules i probally would not allow fielding, summons, or pets. other then that i think everything else would be fair at that point.

I figure you gonna see a lot more attackers than those in the event *grins*
Call it intuition...

And I'm sure they won't limit themselves to no pets, summons, pots, etc...so maybe the event personnel shouldnt either?

There will be no uninsured items on the caravan, so aside from griefing no need to kill us outside of the event paramaters.

I was also thinking that attackers would lose 1 point for each defender they kill, but thats just a thought at the moment, trying to work out scoring. Im thinking im gonna change the scores to:
3points for the naked guy
6points for the gm armor guy
10points for the all 70s guy

That makes no sense. Why wouldn't the attackers kill the defenders? The defenders are in the way protecting the cargo, and attempting to kill the attackers. So, for attackers to reach the cargo they need to eliminate the defenders. Losing a point for each defender they kill just doesn't seem to fit...
