Find an NPC who charges 8gp and wrestle them. Don't use the NPC's that charge 6gp.

You're able to log in now? What was the solution to your log-in issue?

Get a golem.. Crafted. Buy up ur skill to 40.0 and get a fishing pole and beat on the golem with it to 120 standing on top of it. You won't hurt the golem cuz fishing poles do zero damage. Just setup a macro for... Allfollow all guard all stop all stay.. Hit him then hit macro. He won't hurt you and just stand there. You.might have to get some skill jewls to get ya to 70-80 for better gains. And just drop a ring or a brace once you get higher then the other when you get higher again.... Then just ride it out till ur done. Enjoy and happy gains :)

In the end, you need a GM tinkerer to craft a golem that has a wrestling skill within 25 skillpoints of yours in order to gain wrestling from it. Are you on Europa? I have a few golems.

Grab a spell channeling fishing pole
40-70 Horse
70-120 GM Crafted Golem

I've 120'd wrestling about 6 times this way! I've yet to find a faster way.

I remember the <good / bad> old days when we had to go kill stuff to raise skills. Getting to GM magery, for instance, in the days before LRC meant you had to be out casting at stuff - else you couldn't afford regs anyway.

UOA would warn you about regs on the ground so you could pick them up!!

I need to train wrestle on a char and thought I would try this. I got a horse from the stable and tried to attack it with a fishing pole. Does it need to be wild or something?

You need to be guilded or you can't gain as you'd do no damage anyway.

Summon Demon or Greater Dragon works for me at higher levels.

I seem to remember that getting magery to GM in "the good old days" involved standing on a boat and casting earthquake then moving 8 tiles, rinse and repeat....

I use to love 8x8 training....and item based lock picking! I was very much saddened when they changed this out! Skill training use to be an accomplishment then...now it is just a chore you spend a few hrs doing! I understand why it was done....and ya it was probably better for the game in the big picture. I just remember when being a Grand Master lockpicker was a big deal! :) A real accomplishment! I use to own the Brit Beach Lockpick Tower on Catskills. I had 100's of boxes at different levels, plus a rune library of map locations and dungeon chest locations...I would often log in and find people in my house training away :) Good times!
