Hello! I'm new to UO. I joined a few days ago because my girlfriend was telling me about her Ultima Online days back several years ago and I thought I'd give it a try. I must admit that I'm pretty hooked on it, lol.

I just have a couple of quick questions before I finish up this post though. =) How do you make skill macro's or hotkeys for skills/actions? Is this even possible?

Welcome! Hope you are enjoying yourself.

To make a macro/hotkey in the UO Client, hit ALT-O (O the letter).
This is your options screen. Click on the Bottom Left Tab (looks like an arrow going in a circle).
This is your macro/hotkey tab - it lists the hotkeys that come pre-installed. You can make new ones by clicking "Add".

Also, many many people use UO Assist, a legal 3rd party program that makes all sorts of things easier for UO -- including making macros. It has a free trial of like 14 days or so, and then its very affordable if you like it. go to tugsoft.com to Download it.

I think that Zodia got you some of the best info for your question.

If you ever need help, just ask, there are great people on legends (of course there are exceptions to every rule) who are glad to give a bit of help or advice.

Welcome! Is randomrawr a character name? If I see you I'll volunteer my dragon as a meat shield if you want to hunt and build some skill. I'm usually on late, at least when I'm in between quitting. Yeah, UO is like smoking.

Thank you for the help! =) That worked. :danceb: Oh, my characters name in the server is Yoshio. I wanted to use that name on the forums but it said it was already taken. =P lol
