Hello I Am The New Moderator

Yes hell has frozen over.... I know. I am really excited about helping out
on the Chesapeake forums as a moderator. I am sure you will all have me
running to Magdalene every five minutes on what to do. *smiles* So someone
send her an ale or a bottle of wine in game (maybe a box).

I would really like to start off by finding out what you you guys want from
these forums. I find forums are only as useful as the community wants it to
be. I know that we are heavy on PvP in this area now. I have made three stickies.

EM Event Announcements
(To keep you all as informed as possible on upcoming EM events)

Chesapeake Commerce Buy, Sell & Trade
(I just renamed it to well.... I dunno look different.)

Chessy's fight it out PvP Style Thread
(Magdalene made that and a name change seemed needed)

I don't want to flood the forums with to many stickys. As you can tell I have
cleared out some of the out dated items. The Chesapeake Unique Areas don't
worry has been copied. I will be working with Morpheus on getting that up
on the web side of Chesapeake. From what I have gathered so far from the
Tram side is to have a sticky on Establishments and re-occurring events.
It only seemed fair for the other sticky to be picked by the fel side to give
the forum balance.

So besides a Fight it out PvP style thread give me some ideas. One idea has
come in so far for a 1v1 Challenge thread. An area where you make a
challenge publicly to someone over the forums. Then report back who won
or who backed down to your leet skills. I have no problem promoting duels
and seeing who really isn't all just talk and will prove it.

Another two things I wanted from you guys was an idea of when to remake
the Fight it Out PvP Style thread. I know none of you want to scroll through
100 posts. So let me know if we should change it our bi weekly or after 50
posts or what not. Same goes for the Chesapeake Commerce Buy, Sell & Trade.

So in closing I hope I do a really great job for you guys. My gift to you
is being a new mod so take advantage while you can as I get settled in.
Again I am excited about this and hope everyone will be of great help.

I have gotten some good ideas from the Chesapeakers. Now I just
have to figure out where Pet is keeping all the SA information.

with ye acceptance of such a task as being a stratics forum moderator.

oh BTW do ye still have a vampire batty statuette I might can buy or borrow from ye, for my Zento home here. I am gearing up for halloween.

Not sure ye wish to waste a sticky on it, but there still be folks that have not purchased SA at all *like myself* still debating it, maybe a temp. sticky for a couple months with the linkies to purchasing SA upgrade codes for ...a while yet.
