So me and my wife both have tamers with greater dragons. We can kill alot of stuff but here is the problem. She is a horrible squishy...she dies too fast for her girly reflexes to keep her alive.:gee: So my question is this. What does everyone think the best hardy mini champ boss killing duo?

We dont have the money for leet sampire suits. I was thinking a sampires with healing but after searching for a bit i cant find the temp. Mystic dexxers? Or can just classic cross healing bush/parry fighters do champ spawns?

Thankx for the help in advance. And im sorry if this has been asked before hehe i know you guys get mad at constantly answering the same questions.

1. You don't need 10s of millions to make a good sampire suit.

2. Two sampires makes pretty quick work of a spawn.

3. Does she have 45 DCI and a mage weapon?

Two of just about anything is going to be good- just need to find something that fits your play style and go for it... a couple of archer/tamers for example.

He is right with a pair there is a lot you can do even with only decent equipment. Plus (and this is from direct experience) you can have a lot of fun getting the ingredients to imbue a better suit as a pair in the abyss :)

She could use a "classic" warrior:
mace (or other)
tactics
bushido
parrying
anatomy
healing

It's pretty easy to play with such char:
- non stop applying bandages
- Confidence + WW vs crowd, Evasion + AI/LS vs tough

You needn't get your skills to 120 (except mace and may be bushido) so you can take 7th skill (probably chivalry).
PS120 is cheap for macefighting.
You needn't great armor or weapon.

You might get more bang for your buck having her play a sampire and you playing something else. I'd suggest some variant on mystic mage for you. If you're used to sending gdragons after stuff the RC won't feel much different, but you'll have cleansing winds to help keep your wife alive as needed as well. As little as a 110 mystic / 110 focus character should be able to clear all the mini-champs solo. If you're moving beyond mini-champs to something more difficult I might try some sort of hybrid char that includes disco to assist your wife's sampire.

Maybe consider running both sampires with healing so you can cross heal. 2s cross heal bandages ftw. Just remember only one of you will get to honor the foe. But that shouldn't matter with slayer weapons and EOO.

If you can put together halfway decent suits, you shouldn't need to cross-bandage, but it would be one more way to heal I guess.

For mini-champs, I'd go with the following --

1. 2x sampire
2. 1x sampire plus 1x discord tamer
3. Have her improve her current suit and play the tamer still. It sounds like her resists are low, she may not be using a mage weapon, she may not have much if any DCI, and/or she's probably not running with protection up (I don't use it myself, but that may help her out with invis/heals).

You could also run a character with decent mana regen with discord (maybe mystic/bard) and toss up tribulation on the boss for more sampire and RC damage and less incoming damage.

Lastly, you could have her run a ranged sampire with healing. I played an archer with 99 necro plus 95-105 healing for quite some time, and it's pretty effective. I did peerless solo pre-imbuing, so with imbuing, it should be easy enough to both get a good suit and good weapon.
