I have to agree with speedy.
yes you can imbue those intensities (hell you can even get the 40 ssi if you risk breaking on the enhance) but property weight is a killer.
a heart wood kit COULD make you something along the lines of
balanced, 40s hit fb, 40ish velocity, 40is HLD, 30-40 ssi, and 43 di.
You can not do that with imbue.
Hell the balance takes up 150 of your 500 prop weight, DI counts as one of your 5, velocity is rated at 1.3x or 1.4x, hld at 1.2x, ssi at 1.1x, any hit spell is rated at 1.4x. Yes the heartwood is a crap shoot but it is the same crap shoot it has always been.
The Same could be said of a verite hammer or valorite hammer as well; they can potentially make a better weapon than I could ever consider imbuing. that being said, the distance between what I can do with regular melee weap imbuing vs. runic hammer creation is not so great a gap as what can be created via imbue vs. heartwood fletching for archery.
