[Bowcraft/Fletching] Heartwood Runic Bowcraft Results

I burned my heartwood runic kit, made a mix of crossbows, bows and magical shortbows, some ash, some yew, and some regular that I then enhanced with either ash or yew depending on what properties it had.

All but one Magical Short became exceptional, I have a 24/28 bowcraft talisman. One Magical Short got destroyed from enhancing.


Can anyone spot anything that was worth 285 trips back and forth to Heartwood, 600,000 boards and 163,000 mouse clicks?

This is the only decent one..if I wasn't such a gambler I would just sell all the runics I receive, as the chances of making an amazing weapon from just one kit are pretty remote. Best left to the people with the money/means to burn multiple runics.

because of 2 mods the hml and the ssi are nearly max for that weapon and ssi
max mana leech for that ssi is 43
and i am not saying its a great bow but from a ssi mana leech point of view it is

What he said. You can POTENTIALLY get some stunning results this way, and it's slightly less random. But I only made a few that way, the majority were crafted with colored wood already.

I didn't get burned as such. I chose this. Could have readily sold it for 12-15 mill, but that wouldn't have been as fun or interesting. This is the second time I do this, both times similar results.

The best bow I own is straight loot, not even enhanced, don't want to risk having it go *poof* on me. After TWO full Heartwood kits, I still have nothing to come even close. And it's taken me well over a million boards and god only knows how many hours and clicks... WAKE UP EA! Your game is broken.

I know how you feel, ive never run the quest but bought and burned maybe 5 heartwood saws...got poop(well almost all where poop one bok was ok)

I ended up biting the bullet and buying one for 20mil(wish i would have done that at the start, would have saved almost 60mil!)

However, i still have the armour bug...i cannot go a week without buying a verite or val hammer!

You used KR? Don't go into to heartwood without it even if thats the only reason you use it for. If you did then ignore this post.
