What is Lenmir Anfinmotas, you ask?
This:
As it so happens, that information is outdated. Lenmir is now open on many shards, mostly because of gates being made during past EM events. I like the place, and very few people seem to know about it. So...
Let's make a list for the Stratics Atlas, just because we can. If you have been to Lenmir Anfinmotas on your shard, please tell us what your shard is and how you got there! (The way of getting to the beach is different on every shard.)
Lenmir Anfinmotas on Baja
The gate to Lenmir is located in the gypsy camp, one of the unmoving ones, almost due southeast of the Compassion moongate. (x marks the moongate.) Look for the sparkle in the corner, behind the tents.
There's a teleporter right up the far western end of the beach; it takes you to a secluded bridge in Ilshenar, but I wasn't able to figure out exactly where because the servers were about to go down.
Lenmir shows signs of both human habitation and the past EMs going berserk:
I don't know which EMs placed these gates, except that they weren't Seppo and Crysania, our current EMs. They're unique to Baja and are marked "A moongate for the fallen;" they take you back to the gypsy camp.
This takes you back to the Spirituality moongate.
The northernmost tombstone reads, "Here lies Dark Father Paragon Arsat; in just under 14 hours did he take a dirt-nap."
The other says, "For 13 days 20 hours everyone blew to bits. Six feet under now Paragon Harrower sits."
13 days!!
And here is the prettiest part of Lenmir Anfinmotas, near the mountains:
The only spawn are tropical birds. The horse you saw in the earlier picture was mine. The dates, bananas and coconuts on the ground cannot be picked up, but they can be eaten. It's a very friendly place! I've heard rumours that Lenmir was meant to be a spawning point for "sea horses," which never materialised; alas, I did not see a sea horse while I was there, although I guess that the horse I released might eventually take to the ocean.
It is my new favourite holiday destination.
So, now I'm finished, tell me: Have you been to Lenmir Anfinmotas?
This:
That is from the UO Stratics article on the mysterious beach. Not much is known about this secluded cove in eastern Ilshenar. Since there are no boats available and the water is too treacherous to swim in, no one has ever been able to reach it, at least no one has ever been able to return from there to tell about it.
