Okay trying to get a GM to sort out the problem with my house. This is the answer I get to my page:

"We're sorry but the service you have requested is not available in game. If you would like to see this service add to the game in the future please leave your feedback vie the Herald."

OMG!?!? Customer Service is no longer available? How the heck does one leave feedback via the Herald?
Mesanna, you seriously need to fire this person. I'd GM for you for free! How lazy can ya get?

I have been Uvtha. I been at this since 10:30 my time. I've paged and reworded it and still nothing. I even paged on myself for harassment. I even ask the whole shard to page on me say I'm being a ****** lol. Still no GM. LOL what happened to abuse of the paging system at least then you got a GM to yell at you.
Well, now they probably think you are just spamming...

There is nothing the GM is able to do for your house, so seriously its a waste of your time, and theirs. They are not able to interfere with your houses by taking them down or replacing them. years ago GM helped a friend with a house. Friend took house down GM replaced it was in guard zone. Friend lost the spot GM sent his stuff to his bank, and the GM lost his job.

the few gms we have are not lazy. part of what makes their job hard is sorting thru problems they can actually fix and problems that arent worth the time to respond too because nothing can be done or they arent sure how to handle. this is when you get a canned response. if its a problem that a gm can actually assist with and warrants gm support response time is pretty quick if during business hours.

I believe that for all three of the MMOs that Mythic used to run (Warhammer Online, Dark Age of Camelot, and Ultima Online), each game's website was referred to by the game's staff as "the Herald." I believe that is probably what the GM meant when referring to the Herald.

In any event, you CAN find a feedback form on the Ultima Online website and I think that is most likely what the GM was talking about with regard to submitting feedback.

To find the feedback form, go to the uo.com website, click on the small down-pointing arrowhead next to"Account & Support" at the top of the page, and then select the "Contact Us" option from the drop-down menu. That will take you to the page at http://www.uo.com/contact where you will find a form that asks for your name, e-mail address, subject, category (choose from a drop-down list that includes Live Events, Bugs, Game Feedback, GM Reviews, Community Feedback, Fansites, and Account/Billing), and a Message field where you can enter some text.

I don't get any error message after submitting the form, so I assume the message you create with it actually goes somewhere and that someone on the Broadsword staff is reading the messages that people submit via that page.

Well I figured it out by myself it would have saved me a crap-ton of headaches. I only had to: empty my house and drop it down to dirt plot. Still improperly placed,. Someone suggested trade it to another account, I did still broken. Sis owns the house to the right. We decided to delete the steps on her house. VOILA! House is properly placed. It would have only taken a few minutes to deduce this with the GMs tools. But instead it took all day, cost me my sanity., and I still gotta move all my crap back into the house. I think we should rename Luna ..Loonie town. LOL
So looks like it is what I suggested happened to you in your other thread about your house. Glad you got it sorted. It is the same that happened to me with my neighbors steps.
U Should of prolly checked that when I posted what your cause probably was a long time ago ;)
Could have avoided this whole thread and headache.

And this is why the GMs get bogged down to answer serious issues....

I believe the counselor service will help a lot with problems like this.

Thing is you asked this question in the forums and the consensus was that it wasn't an issue and not to worry about it.
You paged a GM anyway? The GMs aren't lazy, they are spammed out with issues that aren't an issue taking up valuable time that could be spent helping someone with a genuine real problem effecting their game play.

Counselors don't have the power to help with house placement issues. And neither do GM's. If a house becomes improperly placed they can't help you, as seen by other posts in this thread. Paging over and over only serves to slow down the GM's for those that actually need them.

I think Scribbles means it'd help weed out queries like this

you page a GM on your sis for her steps causing your house to go improperly placed?

@Dol'Gorath Just because counselors wouldnt have the power to help, doesnt mean they wouldnt of had the game knowledge to tell them why the house is improperly placed. And at the very least they could of directed them to the right means of getting it fixed.

Even if that doesnt float your boat, at the very least you would finally get an actual response from a human telling you there is nothing to be done rather than just assuming because no one will respond to you except an email that frustrates you even more.

I was concerned that all it would take is ONE malicious person and the right GM...**POOF** no more house.
How could anyone possibly know a hidden-from-anyone-not-connected-to-the-house flag is set to "improper" versus "proper" unless you broadcast it all over the int.. oh.

I've got to ask...

Why do you even care if it's suddenly improperly placed? It's not like that means anything unless you were to drop the house and try to replace it...

You really need to learn to relax. There are in game stuff, GM's are not allowed to help with. Calling the GM's lazy are not nice or very polite.
I had been here since 1997 and the few times I had needed a GM, they had been very helpful.
Don't call a GM if friends can help you with advices
Don't call a GM if you can get the advices you need from Gen chat or this forum
Don't tell friends to call too, spamming the GM's will only make them ignore you
Don't tell Mesanna to fire her GM's, and no she can't use you as a GM, you are far to emotionally unstable for that job, sorry

Several of us told you in the other thread that the state of your house was no cause for concern and to just ignore it.
The GM could do nothing about it, in fact had no need to do anything about it. It was a non issue.

I was concerned that all it would take is ONE malicious person and the right GM...**POOF** no more house. After 12 years of playing UO I have seen everything and heard a lot more. Here's what I have learned over the years

Rule #1: Trust no one or no thing!

Rule #2: Keep your guildies close and your enemies closer.

Rule #3: If it CAN get screwed up in UO...Then eventually it will!

Rule #4: There's never a GM when you need one

Rule #5: There's a spamming jerk born every minute and they ALL end up at the event standing on the EM!

Feel free to add to this list.

1) Wear tinfoil hat so the rays can't control your brains.
2) Sow drama in your very footsteps, that it might grow like a mighty garden across the verdant countryside.
3) On second thought, better shave yer head and glue that tinfoil down on your skull, in case "they" bring a big fan to try and blow it off... It would be just like "them" to try! Gotta stay a step ahead!
4) There's never a GM when you need one, so be sure to spam them 1000 times (get your friends and family to help!) over nothing, to train them to come faster!
5) There's a spamming jerk born every minute... unless I'm the one spamming, then its a valiant crusade against a dark and sinister force!
