Last Thursday, I managed to place a 15x18 plot, at the entrance to Despise.

I had made a few placing attempts with another account and marked a rune where the SW corner of
the plot should go.

I placed the plot, build a house; everything seemed fine.

Friday I noticed a strange message when I recalled to the house, using the rune I marked Thursday. It says:

"Strong magics have redirected you to a safer location!"

The rune should actually be blocked, as the marked spot now is covered by the corner of the plot.

The coordinates of the rune are 47° 23'N , 0° 4'W, but I land 3 steps below, on 47° 7'N , 0° 4'W.

But that is not the end of the story; today a very strange thing happened!

I was standing idle on my plot (★) while I was doing something else on the computer. When I went back to the UO window, my character had been moved to a location (★) far north to my house!



I went back to the house and while looking for the zoomable map here on Stratics, for the image above, I was teleported again! This time to the northern corner of the friendly part of Despise!



What the hell is going on?

PS, a good old friend and I have been standing on the plot for around 1 hour now, none of us have been teleported, yet.

The system is redirecting you because the spot is covered by a house, nothing unusual about this.

Yes, and that is only 3 tiles.

But being telestormed to a random place in the neighborhood is something else and has (probably) nothing to do with the rune thingy.

could you have hit a macro that caused you to recall again (to the spot under the plot. and that recall caused the teleport?

No, first time I was just standing in my house, in rabbit form, so recall was not possible and nor have I marked any runes for those locations or made any macros that could cause such event.
