After relocating to my new home I got back to crafting again. In my attempt to creat an all 70s ,100 lrc suit, I burned a barbed kit that gave me 15 peices with 4 or 5 self repair. Half had night sight on them. None of them were more than 42 total ressist. Then I used up the balance of a horned kit. While they didnt have to many extra properties the items all seemed way better than what the barbed gave me. Including this :
Brabed leather leggings PR 6% FR 20% CR 22% PoR 16% ER 22% with no mods.
It seems all the work I did to earn a barbed kit was not worth the effort. I bought a few from vendors and it cost me big gold. So far Im very dissappointed with the results. Should I only buy the horned kits ? I once made a gorget with 93 total resists on it but that was long ago. Is this a thing of the past ? What is the minimum total ressist someone would buy?
I want to cut some of these crappie items up.

Its been a matter of luck to me. I burned thru 3 kits and got crap, then made a uber 4 piece suit with 70s 70% LRC, 14% LM, 3 MR, 5 HR. I am still able to wear pendent of Magi, and Spellweaver pants, and have a orni so I am able to hit 100% LRC.

to get the most out of your tailor you do need to have gm armslore on them since at gm it adds 5 points to the overall resists on each piece (so your 42 resist piece would have been 47 resist for example)

Yes even with the GM armslore I got crap. I guess I hit a bad run because today I did a little better.
Im just wondering why Im not getting anything useful. Considering the effort put into attaining any type of high end runic, at least give me a few decent mods . I mean ,you get 5 slots for them and I get Night Sight or Self Repair on the SAME item (I made tunics). 5 outta 15 times??? That is just ,just , just ... WRONG !!!
I ll admit that SOME of the resists were good but, I have tons of good stuff of equal quality that I made with a horned kit that can be made into an all 70's low end suit.
I expected to get a few "centerpeices" to build on . What I got was junk . That made me die a little inside.
Self Repair should be removed from the list of mods , it is bad for bussiness on both ends for a tailor. When you make it they wont buy it ,when they buy it they dont need you anymore. :(

I have no idea what I would price that at, why not use it for training any new characters or parry if you need it?
