Has anyone seen a llama vortex lately?

For those unaware, an energy vortex used to spontaneously pop out as a llama instead.

I haven't seen this happen in ages, in fact that screenshot is one I took at least four years ago and was the last one I saw.


Anyone see one more recently? I don't throw as many EVs as I used to.

Got one the other day. They are few and far between but yep they still spawn. One of the cool
Easter eggs in UO.

Don't quote me, but I remember hearing somewhere that the ratio for casting an energy vortex (llama) is 1:100. Try casting 100 successful energy vortex's in a row and see if you get one. I bet you do

One of the real oddities of the easter egg is that while you can get Vortex Llamas in either client, a purple llama cast by a CC user looks like a normal EV to a EC user, and vice-versa.
