Has anyone heard this line in a movie, and if so, which movie is it from?

Hi All! My husband keeps repeating this line he claims is from a movie we've seen. He thought it was spoken by Ed O'Neill's character in the movie Dutch, which we just Netflixed and watched -- but it was not. The line goes something like this:

I apologize from the deepest, darkest depths of my cold black heart.

I promised him I would look it up, but I have had no success googling this quote, and my husband is notorious for remembering movie lines wrongly.

Anyone?

Gosh it sounded like something his character would've said in Wayne's World, in a way...

Mikita's Manager, Glen: Anything wrong, Davy?
Davy: Yeah, I got paid today.
Mikita's Manager, Glen: Yeah, I know what that's like.
Davy: No. You don't understand. They laid me off. I got one of these.
Mikita's Manager, Glen: Yeah, I know how that feels.
Davy: Know what I'd like to do?
Mikita's Manager, Glen: Yeah I know what you'd like to do. You'd like to find the guy who did it, rip his still beating heart out of his chest and hold it in front of his face so he can see how black it is before he dies.
Davy: Actually, I was thinking of filing a grievance with the union.
Mikita's Manager, Glen: Well, the world's a twisted place.

You've exhausted a ChaCha guide! The only thing I found was from a guys blog, but it wasn't exact wording and didn't mention a movie. From reading how you wrote that, I emphasized "cold black heart" when I searched. Which words are you certain on?

Would you believe Trish pegged it? We put in Wayne's World, and my husband says that's it. How he turned those lines into the one he keeps using, I'll never know.

Thanks for the effort!

Even now that my oldest daughter is 18, her favorite movie has ALWAYS been Wayne's World. So needless to say, I've seen/heard that movie hundreds of time over the last .. what 12 years since it was released?

Another time to make you feel old, the first one was released in 1992, try 16 years ago!

Actually, the humor has held up quite well, except the "Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?" line was not funny at all to the kids and we had to explain the commercial...

LOL, yeah, same here. And I also had to explain to her many of the references were first done by Bill & Ted. Now she loves those movies too. LOL
