Harrower on wheels

In all the harrowers I have done over the last few years, the True Harrower has always remained firmly rooted to the spot of where it spawned. After fleeing into some narrow corridor of Covetous to escape the tentacles a few hours ago, it was obviously of great surprise (not to mention pain) when ol' harry started chasing after us, doing his best impersonation of Pacman it seemed to me. This was Siege Perilous shard.

Has something changed recently or have I missed something?

Do you happen to know if anyone used the Paralyze special move on it?

The True Harrower was created as a stationary monster.

But after Age of Shadows a funny thing happened. It would move if you used that special move on it, once the paralysis wore off.

This created a variety of interesting tactical situations.

But it was fixed awhile back. Awhile back.

But bugs in UO have a habit of self-rezzing.

*fondly imagines the harrower scooting around Sosaria, effortlessly consuming every township in its path*

*delighted!*

As someone who was standing right next to it, I assure you it started to give chase immediately when it appeared :D Everyone kinda scampered to avoid the tentacles, i don't think anyone got any hits in on him before we regrouped. I have it on video so I'll have to go back and look...it was...surprising to be chased out of the room by the true harrower O_x

Part of me wants to think this was intended, honestly.

Like this thread, where folks say killing Lord Oaks is actually giving Virtuebane loyalty points.

However....If Virtuebane decides he suddenly cares about Lord Oaks or the True Harrower wants to be mobile?

Great changes that show a living, dynamic world, but even if the changes aren't announced I still think they should say "various changes were made to champs, so be on the lookout!" or something similarly generic in the Publish Notes.

People have it backwards in the lord oaks thread, you gain BANE loyalty by killing oaks, therefore bane is OPPOSED to oaks, not with him.

Yeah, I kinda confused myself in that thread...Sorry about that...*chuckles* But yeah the way you phrase it is correct; Oaks and the Bane are opposed if you gain Bane points from killing Oaks.

Which makes RP sense, but I still think they should have announced that there was some kind of change to champs or to Oaks in particular even if they didn't say what the change was. Hitherto the bad guys from the events and the champs haven't so much as noticed each other.

And hitherto the Harrower has been stationary save for that one bug post-AoS. Something is up, or multiple somethings.
