You know I saw a documentary arguing that there's a degree to which Guy Fawkes might've been set up....Not that he was innocent exactly but that the English government might've blown up (PUN!!!!) what was actually a bunch of blowhards (ANOTHER PUN!!!) playing with explosives and trying to do something they couldn't possibly accomplish. And that the government knew about it for months but deliberately didn't do anything so that the attack could be timed to the 11th hour because the people love that 11th hour ****.

One of these days I'll get around to learning more detail about the incident.

Not that I know of but he was tortured on the rack for 3 days, then as part of his execution had his [insert your favorite crude word for male genitalia here] cut off, and his intestines dropped out and burned while they were still attached.
