little history....

been playing since 2003.. be yoyo'ng between uo and ti*ia... one thing that strikes me between these two games is...

in uo i have no "Reallife" friends who play any more... and as sad as it is i have no "ingame" friends that i know either.... over the last six months ive been settling back in to uo life on and off.. nope still no new friends... (is it just me, or is does everyone ingame keep themselves to themselves these days?)

now my problem is i can play with any of my 7 chars... which brings "some" fun and change into the game but there is only so long that this stays fun... its not fun playing the game totally solo.... this is one of the reasons ive left before and gone back to ti*ia where the community is alot closer nit, and in which i have many friends/guild alliances... not to promote ti*ia here quite the opersit... im sick of tibia for the reason that it is so basic.. im drawed to uo because the diversity and amount of detail in game.... but i cant go on with out speaking to a soul....


so i ask this....

i ask to join a guild in europa.. one that allows for erratic playing schedule (some weeks lots of hours some weeks none - (due to the fact of busy work/home life)) that is friendly/welcoming.. well established... with players who act just want to enjoy uo for what it is and what it can bring,

in return i will be trustful... loyal and to my best ability helpful to other members.. i will be active as much as my RL allows... and i will respect others...

if there are any guilds out there that can take me up on this offer, then please post here,

It sounds like ClanUK would be a suitable guild for you :), it seems to fit the criteria and is very welcoming. I can back this up from personal experience I came back to UO and joined this guild, was welcomed and helped along the way to get established in the game again :).

Or Saor might be worth a look. We have a core of more experienced, regular players, some new folks (how are you at answering UO related questions? :) ) and some folks who, like you, can only play erratically. Feel free to PM me here, or add me to icq 451 321 008 :)

Fantastic bunch of people from all over the world. Some idiot's, but the majority are very friendly.

Hang around Yew Gate, or join in the factions, and you will soon be invited to join one guild or another.

Most guild's use vent, so you can chat throughout the day/night.

P.S. This is an invite to all of you, not just dupadupa.

Cailleach my worry is im not sure how good i would be at answering questions... i know what i need to know to play my chars but i dont know lots of stuff, dosent help i had a long break away playing another game, i like many others use stratics :D

Hehe, I've been playing a mere 2yrs and me shouting my husband or looking stuff up is a regular occurrence. Mostly, what we get asked about is armour, weapons (best/worst, can you have plate on a mage etc), where and how to best raise skills and how to travel. And a fair bit about game mechanics, like how to make things, where to get resources. All the stuff you want to know when you first start to play. If I don't know, I'll say so and then find out. I've learnt a hell of a lot since I started the guild, and continue to do so. Which is all to the good :)
