Guild stones were awesome. I wish they'd bring'em back with new features too like..

-Statistics (shows random statistics about the guild/members/and individuals)
-Guild tithing *mainly for rp'ing purposes* (allows players to "tithe" gold to the guild which can only be accessed by the guild leader or appointed guild treasurer)
-The ability to rename current guild rankings (wouldn't alter their abilities)
-The ability to request titles by going to the stone, submitting a title you wish to have and then when the leader or any ranked official is logged on, can appoint the title by clicking an "ok/cancel" button in a menu box on the stone or via guild menu.

No where near the same, but there is a pillar statue in the masonry menu, using a statue engraving tool bought off a tinkerer you can put your guild name and abbrv. on the statue. Its just deco but its a start.

I wish masons could craft guildstones, headstones for graves etc.

Guild stones should be crafted, engraved only by the guild leader and available to all guilds. Some statistics would be nice. but to simplify it just deco is good.

It would be cool if you could also make a "guild charter", which would look like a deed but when double clicked would open a gump with the guild charter written on it.

Same for "guild membership", it would have your name, the name of the guild, the date you joined, etc.

No reason for it of course - just fun.

I still have my guild stone for "Knights of HellFire" (KHF), looks good in my house

Not sure I like the idea of crafting them unless it can be assured that nobody can create a stone with a name that already exists.

Bring back guildstones! I never understood why they were removed anyway. I miss them.

.... also, if stones are to be purely decorative, allow the guildmaster to make smaller replicas for the members to display... a small obelisk with the inscription "Proud member of xxxxx"
