Guild Abbreviation Bug

I'm in a guild with a triple same-symbol abbreviation.
Every day it resets to another triple same-symbol abbie for no reason. I have to call a GM and ask them to change it each time.

I am tired of reporting bugs either through KR or the E-mail system. It feels nothing is getting done.

So like the *Archery* thread and the *Stealth/Health Bars* thread I created, here's the *Guilds Abbreviation Bug* thread.

And today a GM told me he's marked my account and that next time it happens I'll have to live with the system-set abbreviation which sucks **** or make a new guild Abbreviation. rolleyes:

Also, if you make a guild that is ]ab[ for example the game reads it as []ab[] and it wont allow you to recognize golems as guild mates and they will always hit you back...at least thats what has happened to me.

I have yet to log in, so I can't yet comment on my issue but about yours what can I say.

The guild tags all begin and end with with [ X ].. If you put in ]X[ It will surely look like []X[] which is what you described. I am not sure as to how this is a bug or maybe I just misread but I think it's normal.

The golems.. Well since this is isn't an exploit as long as you are not AFK while doing it, here's what I do. A very simple procedure.

Tell it follow you, take it where you want- I always take it off Guards Zone.
Attack it, land 1 hit and immediately tell it to Guard you.
Now tell it to Stop.
Now to Stay.

Make sure you have a 100% Poison weapon, with no Spell Effects and that you are not using Immolating Weapon or such.
Do not use special moves or abilities that do direct damage like Armour Ignore.
Make sure you have Spellweaving or you will have a hard time repairing it. I transfer my GM Tinkering in fact. 10 Ingots per repair. No tool charges used, good HP recovery.

Lastly make sure it is not one of the old golems, have a Tinker make you a new one.

With this I can even have my guildmates training on the same golem as I am if I friend them and that's quite fun- and totally eliminates the need to AFK for TV/Music/Chat.

So you are saying that one day it is AAA and then the next it is BBB?

Exactly.

But the issue is... well it's not resolved hence my post is still here... But we worked out a viable temporary solution which very, very helpful on the GMs' side.
