Is it not possible to make the little steps anymore?? like the one in this pic for the bridge?? if it is could someone please explain how to do it.. I must be doing it wrong.

Yes it is still possible. I did one today messing around
1. place teleport tiles under steps you wish to remove
2. place steps
3. use the tool to make your steps invisible
4. delete the teleport tiles
5. hit the button for the floor you are on.
The unwanted step sections will dissapear. The first row (pictured) is a bit more complicated to remove but it can be done.

Oh ok! I got it. I was just placing teleporters then putting the steps on them and never deleted the teleporters after i placed the steps..! duh. Thank you!
