Growing plants!

Who is on it?


I started with 10 seeds from Titans and 10 seeds from Terrathan warriors.
My friend starting with 10 Seeds from Kappas and 10 from Mummies.


All growing in Fertile dirt and 2 strenght potions a day. Already had 2 plant moved 2 growth stages at ones that i planted yesterday.


Going to hunt more seeds from other monsters but i'll keep them in seperate bags. Hopefully i get a idea what monster drops what seeds.



If anyone want seeds or plants in the future, just let me know.

At the moment I have just one fragrant seed from a wisp and it is in normal earth, so will take a little longer,
Must get some more tonight if I can be brave enough to tackle something other than a wisp

If anyone needs potions of any kind, I should be able to help

If you want to have some sort of seeds, just tell me which monster you would like to try to kill and we can take a look at it. They all aren't too difficult, but I know it can be hard with the surrounding spawn.

I thank you for your offer, when we know which monster drops which seed, I shall know better which monster I would like to kill
So if I can take you up on your offer at a later date, it would suit me better (and give me time to prepare) I am not a great fighter but I am willing to have a try
Maybe after this weekend when my Greater Dragon Bonds (thank you again Nenime) my tamer will have a better chance

In the week-end i'm going to kill Serpentine dragons with my friend to get seeds of them. Hopefully we won't run into too many Paragons of them.

I just found a "Peculiar Seed" on a Mummy corpse.

Yes thats one of the seeds of the new plants.


Peculiar and Fragrant. Fragrant gives cocoa trees when fully growed.

Although gardening looks a bit strange if you like fighting monsters but its a little fun. I just see as a extra facet of the game to try out. Just like i have a silly aquarium with fish


Although the hunting for the seeds is fun but getting them grow and waiting to see what plants you will get is just a little excitment.

Yes, you're right. I'm glad that UO offers a lot of activities which seems to be useless or a waste of time at first glance. I consider them as some kind of leasure within the game. After some hard time in a dungeon, I replace cincture with apron and start cooking. All the opportunities for house decoration are so much fun, too.

For gardening, I wait a little bit longer. Due to the Spring Cleaning, I already have so much 'work' to do which was left undone. And yet I hear about another mysterious quest in Britian Castle... *sighs*...just don't know where to start. rolleyes:

The first plant(s) are starting to show today - a friend has his in fertile dirt and got a hops.

Friend got one yesterday (hops), and one's going to be up today. *excited* The new pics all look great too, but I have problems believing stuff before I see it IG.

I got 3 Tall Hedges,a Cocoa tree, Hops plant and Sugar Canes. They should be from Kappas if my books are right.

I Planted my second batch of plants this morning. Hoping to get Cypress Trees and Water lelies.

The first ones most of them are now in decoration setting.


Eventualy i will grow everything and sell them on my gardening vendor.

Oh yes, please! I would very much appreciate this because I found out that I'm a lemon at gardening - and I only did the basics. Right now it's a mystery to me how to get a specific plant. Even cross-pollinating? Oh my!

I searched around southern Luna but couldn't find your shop. May you please tell again where it is? (Pm me in case you don't want to make it public.)

Our shop is south outside Luna. Its a little away from the road to the east. Its called the Cat's Outpost. The shop looks like a ruined building with a big fountain infront with stable and big garden on the roof.


There 2 big buildings with lots and lots of vendors to the East and North of us.

Did anyone got a rare colored new plant?


My geuss is they come from naturalist quest. The plants you get there are random selected when it shows as a plant (day 7). I think the new plants are in the pool of plants choices of them.
