It was a pain to get it done, but I finally created a llama topiary on TC1.
It has no value for the cleanup. The hedge it came from also had no value for the cleanup. I also checked some other live and deco plants (grown from the plant spawners) and they also had no value for the cleanup.
For anyone else that wants to mess with actually growing plants on TC1, here's what you need to do:
1. Place a house or get yourself co-owned on one.
2. Make sure you have all the necessary chemicals in potion kegs. Attempting to use ones in bottles doesn't work. (You'll see a message that the potion was applied but it's a lie!) You'll have to make potion kegs for greater poison (and greater strength if you use it) and grind the potions. You should already have one keg for greater cure and greater heal in your test center bank box. If you've already pitched those, make more.
3. Make yourself a water trough.
4. Buy a water pitcher.
5. Buy plant bowls from a provisioner and fill them with dirt.
6. Use the Give Seeds command to get a box of seeds in your bank box and/or go gather seeds from monsters.
7. Start a plant the way you normally do with watering a filled pot of dirt and planting a seed. Secure the planted pot to the floor in a house. Click on the plant to open the plant gump.
8. Say "Grow_plant" (without the quotes) while the plant gump is open. The plant will utter something (probably obscene) and go through one day's growth. Close the plant gump and click on the plant again to get another plant gump. If the plant needs water and/or chemicals, apply them. Remember, you have to use potions that are in kegs.
9. Repeat step 8 until the plant reaches day 9 and you can set it to deco or keep growing it for 9 more days for seeds or resources. If you grow the peculiar poppy plant, be sure to grab the poppy dust to use to ID other seeds.
