grizzled mare?

hi, i'm confused about these. i have a bonded one that's in horse form & can be stabled. but i have also read that they can be kept in statue form. once they're in horse form is there a way to get them back to statue form? or am i just totally confused. also, if i wanted to sell it, how much do they sell for? it's on atlantic. thanks!

The way I understand those work is:

Once the statue is double clicked, the pet appears and bonds to her master instantly. Once this occurs, there is no way to 'put it back in the box'! This is not an ethereal.

As far as I know, if one were to attempt to trade it, the pet would simply vanish.

So, these are sellable only in unused form.

Never having used one myself, the above is what logic tells me.

Yeppers he's right, and if it's a prepatch one [pub 53] your F***ed!! Just like me, had one of each, mare and proxies.

yeah - i tried to see if i could transfer it to a char on my 2nd account and it wouldn't work so i released it and it went *poof* (i bought a used account last week and one char had the grizzled mare). i couldn't stand the sight of it so now it's gone! too bad you can't turn them back into statues. the statues are easier to look at than the stumbling, skinless, rotting horses. ew.
