Is this quest broken? I get to the part where you must collect ingredients. My first task is five frog legs. I kill a dozen bullfrogs and get nothing. Any suggestions?

bullfrogs usually work as well.

However, one does not always get usable legs off every kill, be they bullfrogs or giant toads. The same goes for any of the other things you have to kill.

Getting 5 in a row with no legs is a pretty bad streak of luck.

Double check quest log, it will tell you how many legs u have collected.

also it could show that the game accepted the 5 and is waiting for you to do the next step of quest, have seen this before

Yeah - while you "collect" items, the items don't actually physically appear in your inventory. The only things that are in your inventory are the tools you need to bring to do the quest (like the stuff in my hag quest guide).

For example, for the swamp water, you have to have an empty glass pitcher, but even when you collect it, nothing actually APPEARS in the container - it stays empty.
