Grimms' Replacement?

Grimm mentioned that one of the reasons he'd been kept on was to help train the newbies.

I'm assuming one of these trainees will be chosen as his replacement.

Perhaps we could get someone from the Virginia art team to jump in here and introduce themselves..
Hopefully we can get someone there to take over Grimms Corner.

One can only hope we didn't lose our best artist and our only artwork information source at the same time.

In all honesty, while the idea of an actual introduction and the new art people taking some initiative to actually reach out is appealing: personal two cents.. it would be in poor taste to put someone else in that spot anyway. To just slide someone into a corner titled for a specific individual is tacky. And it would be an insult to Grimm. (Not being argumentative.. just saying).

Grimm I would hope would stay on here at Forums, the man is tops in my book and just to have him here would help us all out tremendously. His skills not withstanding, he is a part of us kiddo. Grimm will stay where his heart is. a big love for him is art. I think as long as that can be offered here, he'll hang. Most have had a lot of fun in there, even when it wasn't all about UO.

Part of me things everyone is rushing to this topic a little too fast. New members of the team are usually announced both on stratics and on the herald when they take officially take position especially with a position like Grimms.

By the middle of this month, I will no longer be art lead for UO, and by Sept 27th, I will no longer be a part of the UO team.

UO team has lost many people over the last 10-12 months and we've only seen a couple of new mentions on Stratics or the Herald, and they weren't formal introductions for the most part, but were just mentioned as a part of something else.

I'm not saying it didn't used to be that way, but look at the current UO team

How many of those that are newer do you remember having introduced themselves?

If you don't count GMs or EMs and just look at people directly working on the UO team, there are only 8 people that are known to be working on UO.

I have a feeling if more formal introductions are made we will see more formal dismissals.
