I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself for those who were
not able to attend tonight’s Meet and Greet in Britain.
My name is EM Bennu, and I will be partnering with EM Nestor to be one
half of the Event Moderator team for the Atlantic shard.
Like many of you, I have been playing Ultima Online off and on since
1997. I am new to the Event team and it looks to be a great amount of
fun for all involved. I look forward to entertaining you with more than a few of
my tales and events.
My forte really is tossing quite a bit of Role Playing content in
with my fiction, everything one of my characters says has a reason for
saying it, and all of my items and creatures will have a reason for
existing. What that means is that everything is part of the story, even
something small and subtle. Some of you may find my subtlety to be a bit maddening,
but that mystery is part of the hunt and is part of the fun! It is the story that I find
interesting and rewarding. However, above that the reaction and attentiveness of the
audience really is what makes the job of an EM so much fun. When you write a book,
you spend a year writing it, another year editing and getting it published and it takes
another year beyond that to really start getting feedback. As an EM the feedback is
instantaneous, from both the positive and negative!
I ask for your patience and your interest, look upon my events as an interactive story.
The journey is half the reward!

On the other side of the screen, I am a full time writer. I am also a family man with
two wonderful children and a wife.
