Grass Tiles rebounding

Ok first time I have tried to restock my vendor with grass tiles since all the recent patches etc.

They were stored in my beetle that I am riding. Hop off, grab a tile, place on vendor and the whole stack rebounds into my backpack and the one I was trying to put on the vendor also rebounds to my pack. Try to put the stack (58 of them) back into my beetle and they won't go, just keep rebounding to my backpack, so I log out and in, try again, same thing. Change from Pinko's to the Default EC. log out and in, same thing. Close the client completely, restart client in default, same thing.

Try another stack from my beetle, and yet again it now rebounds the stack (56 this pile) into my backpack. So now I am holding over 100 of em in my pack and the stacks wont go back to my beetle.

So I test with other 'stock' from my beetle, a harvester blade, that goes onto the vendor fine. I put a bag with 6 runes in it from my backpack into my beetle, again, no problems. Try again with the grass tiles and again the whole lot rebound to my pack. Anyone experience this? @Kyronix any ideas?

I'd say call a GM. see if one of them can reset the stacks. At best it would move it to the proper dev if even he cant fix it.

Have you tried putting them in the crate that stacks them again? may be worth a shot before you sit and wait on a GM.

Tried putting them in the crate again but that made no difference.

Ok so this is weird, I always stock my vendors (they are rentals) from the grass just outside the house where I recall to. Just to test after trying unsuccessfully again to put them on after recrating them I decided to try from inside the premises (Luckily I am coowned to them, not sure if just being inside would give the same affect) and from inside the tiles went on the vendor as normal and I could put them on my beetle.

Went back outside to try again and the problem happened again. Seems some kind of bug has happened that just wont allow you to put them on a vendor unless you are physically inside the premises. I suspect something like this would be the same with the new 'house only' stone craftables, although I can't test as I do not have a stone maker on atlantic where these vendors are. This is the first time I have restocked them since TOL but suspect whatever code they have used with the house only stuff is now affecting how you put this type of stuff on a vendor.

Not sure why the stone stuff should be house only, you can't even put it on the ground outside even if not wanting to lock it down. I tried to put a stack of grass tiles on the ground and they wouldnt go either.

Either way, you shouldn't need to be inside the premises to put stuff on a vendor that is called down to your location for stocking.

Yes well they are on my vendor now that I sorted out the problem but others may experience the same issue if it is not fixed. Someone needs to test the new stone crafted 'house only' items to see if the same thing happens when stocking from outside the premises.

If your vendor is in the SW corner of Luna on Atlantic, then you're out again...

Or you could just sell me some in bulk. instead of re-stocking....

Yes well they are on my vendor now that I sorted out the problem but others may experience the same issue if it is not fixed. Someone needs to test the new stone crafted 'house only' items to see if the same thing happens when stocking from outside the premises.


HOw did you dye your walls, on the test centre we used the plant dyes to dye them and the floor tiles but when I tried to dye them on my home shard it wouldn't let me dye them so I figured they mucked it up and stopped us using the dyes to dye them.

Did you use colored stone or plain stone? If you use plain stone just like using plain wood you can't dye the item.... but when you use stone with a property of color.... such as Dull Copper stone or Shadow.... then it becomes dyable.

ahh thanks, lol, I did KNOW THAT but had a brain fart, guess i will test again only this time use dullcopper stone. I was even mining for dull copper knowing this but had a few weeks of doing other stuff and forgot. Thanks Mala

It look like the grass tiles got the house only code, so they consider your beetle to be not your pack and not in house. Sounds like a bug.

it was colored stone of some type i used, dont remember which.....but long as its not plain stone you can use about any dye on them.... "trying to find a nice girly hue for my castle LOL"
