grandfathered housing

I know this will seem like a stupid question but I'm at a loss for an answer. If I have a grandfathered house will i be able to place another house on that account without loosing the grandfathered house, they would be placed on different shards if that matters. Thank you for any insight into the matter

If you place another house (even on another shard) your new house will become your "primary house" and your grandfathered house will lose it's grandfathered status and begin the IDOC stages.

As dead as most servers are now we should open one house per server back up
