Goza roof question

I am basically trying to make a roof (above the 3rd floor) for my house out of goza mats. I got almost all of it done, with one major problems. It will not let me place the ladder near any of my doors. Is there a way to get around this?

(there is a reason I cannot use normal roof/floor tiles for my roof. I have floors on my 3rd floor that are raised with gozas, and to be able to walk on them I cannot have flooring/roof tiles above.)

u could go on ur goza roof & place a ladder & place gozas & lower those

Thank you for the reply, but unfortunately I tried this and I guess I am doing it wrong. The goza will only place on the tile that the ladder is actually on

I also found a new problem, I cannot seem to place on the south or east wall, figures I started on the N/W and didnt think to try there. So I now have a line of no roof on the south and east.

u cant place a castle ladder ont eh last goza & walk off 2 steps?

if not then that is weird & some one else will have to help u & i hope they do reply cuz tha a lil tougher than my deco experence is

I mean i was able to add a 4th & 5th floor to my castle so It shouldnt be a prob, unless the stairs block it that far up

Hrm, yeah you should be able to place a south or east facing castle type ladder 1 or 2 tiles away from the edge of the building then walk up the ladder, take two steps and place a goza by targetting yourself.
