Limlight,

Keep in mind that there is at least one known case of a GM deleting the extra layers of a player's house which were created this way, and Rachel has indicated that she would rather we not post detailed tutorials here showing people how to make the extra floor, when it could be deleted at any time by a GM if they are so inclined.

However...you should be able to find specifically what you need in here.

Having talked to him about this Thats not quite what he wants to do. He is looking to have the gozas at hight 19 above the ground and still walk under them he wants to do this inside his keep or was it a castle bah there both ugly but either way he wants to have them as high as they can go with out being a new floor and under an existing roof. I for one dont have much experence with this so I wasn't able to give him a good answer. If its possable to walk under them and somoene wants to test it I wouldnt mind knowing for sure either. =)

As far as I know, you can't do it on a floor with floor directly over it. The layer height won't allow it. From what I recall, when you use the technique of stacking items to raise them high enough to walk under, the gozas just end up on the next floor.

This guy posted this picture here on our forums and he posted another picture of when you walk undereath it...it opens up....I want to do that...

I dont want a seperate floor. I tried to get Llama King (Vlad) to help me out...but *throws Brick at Vlad*...the genius doesnt know how too.

Oh it's easy. I've done it before with a hidden room in my old keep. You could walk thru the tapestry to get to the hidden storage room:

Anyways, you need 3 small tables, two large damaged book piles and 2 extra square goza mats to make the "elevator".

Put down the three tables in the northwest corner (best place to start, but really anywhere north or west is good). Place the two goza mats on the ground next to each other and the tables. Raise one goza mat 2 times and the other goza mat 4 times. Stand on the highest goza mat. Put down the two damaged book piles on the top table, and then use a goza on the top book pile. Remove the *lowest* book pile first, then you can remove all the other items. If you remove the items in the wrong order the goza will drop to the ground.

Sarsmi, I am doing exactly as you say. Yet the goza continues to fall to the ground as soon as I remove the highest table :(

EDIT: I just did this by removing the lowest books *last* and the goza stayed.

Oops. Always nice to give such specific instructions that are actually wrong. By nice I mean embarassing! :p

Typically when you stack a bunch of items and need a top item to remain floating in air you do not remove the item directly underneath it untill you have removed the second item underneath it. So basically you leave a gap in the air by taking this second item and then you take all the other items and things work out fine.

What I was forgetting is when you place a goza mat on that top damaged book pile it actually sits on top of the lowest book pile. Which means that the lowest book pile becomes the object immediately underneath the goza, and you have to remove the item under *that* book pile, which is the highest table.

So! Revised directions: Put down the 3 tables and 2 damaged book piles while standing on your elevator. Place the goza, and then remove the top most table and then all the other items. And that should work! (I just tested it also.)
