Royal Council Meeting of the Governors of Siege Perilous

Kimi had been very busy with her Luna Vendors that trips to Moonglow were almost a vacation when compared to the busy life of a Luna Vendor house. The open lands of the isle were her true love and she always missed the isle when she had to leave.
Since the invasion of the Titans travels here had been at best risky and very dangerous. But the war was over, but now a new threat walking bones of the dead were being seen in the Graveyards. Her citizens were concern of this and she had made sure to post addition guards at all public building including her office.
While there she and the city guards were alerted to trouble by screams of citizens in the street, rushing to see who what when where and why she was ambushed by a wondering blob much like the snowman from the dungeon that so many were at. Thanks to the lords above for our city healers.

King Blackthorn: ah, but there are far more important things, in my mind. I have to offer you all my thanks for your efforts in defending the kingdom. I hear Lord Bo, for instance, was instrumental in defending Skara.

King Blackthorn: and word of other heroic deeds has reached my ears the battle in Minoc's town square, for instance, when a titan fell the reports I received tell me you could hear it fall for miles around while I could not. Dupre tells me you all risked life and limb against those tyrannical titans, to ensure they did not claim this realm! Well done, and thank you! *smiles broadly*
Bo: Skara is a crap hole that needs to be burnt to ground
King Blackthorn: Now, to matters of state. First, I hear our graveyards are overrun by strange creatures once again. I shall dispatch guards, but there are only so many guards. I know it is asking a lot, but if any of you would like to keep these undead marauders in check, it would be appreciated. I know you are more than capable

King Blackthorn: Secondly, I have a request - most certainly not an order. From time to time, matters in the lands of Ilshenar have been known to threaten our safety. And so, being able to travel there swiftly would be of benefit. I understand there is a researcher near the Sorcerer’s dungeon who is willing to trade certain items for a mystical jawbone, which allows rapid travel. The commander of the Black Watch assures me one of those, placed at the House of Commons, would be most beneficial. But, I do not ask for your help, offering nothing in return. I have had one of our mages place a means of travel to that researcher at the House of Commons. He tells me the magic will not last long, but while it does, you will have swift travel there. He also tells me that touching a green pumpkin near the researcher brings you home. Now, I have spoken enough, so let us hear from our governors. Is the governor of Jhelom with us? No? A shame. *makes note in red* What of New Magincia? ah, good to see you, sir. What do you have to tell us?
Morgan Ironfist: Greetings. New Magincia is still on the rise. Markets are good. City treasury is at 48 million so the trade deal is secured throughout my term we raised some money through a Harrower hunt sold some of the stat scrolls so that would be it. *bows*
King Blackthorn: *smiles* Excellent! thank you! An excellent report! Now, what of Minoc?
Blind Otto: eh? I'm awake! oh, me? right! We have nine and a half million left in the coffers, milud.
King Blackthorn: *rolls eyes*
Blind Otto: It would have been ten, but a metal eating monster got its jaws into the gold. I could have sworn it was even more than that, but our financial adviser from Vesper assures me that I am mistaken. The town people are content as they ever are, although we did have an outbreak of rock scabies and mud piles this month. I have advised those afflicted to partake of a diet of rock salt and toad scales. They should be right as rain in no time!
King Blackthorn: *eyes widen*
Blind Otto: You should try some, your majesty. Or perhaps these dried frog pills I've been taking?
King Blackthorn: *looks dubious*
Blind Otto: They have the most amazing results! Why, I am blind, but after taking the last ones, I would swear I saw colored swirls before my eyes! That is all, your majesty, unless you would like to hear a song about gold I've been composing?
King Blackthorn: erm... thank you. But no, we are short on time.
Blind Otto: *looks disappointed* good night, milud
King Blackthorn: ahem next, is Britain's governor here? No? Very well. Trinsic? hrm. And so, Moonglow?

King Blackthorn: Ah, good! At least some people have a sense of duty!
Kimi Mori: Sire, I have bad news and even worse news. With the coming of the Walking Dead trade in and from the city has dropped greatly. Skeletons walk among us and even now there is a frightening monster roaming the Moonglow city streets. Citizens have locked them self behind barricade doors. I also fear there will be a named walking dead for myself as I died in Moonglow just minutes before this meeting from that Monster!

King Blackthorn: *slips scroll to guard asking for instant reinforcements* my word. I have asked the guard to send for additional forces
Kimi Mori: thank you sire
King Blackthorn: but if those gathered here could help after this meeting, that would also be appreciated. Hopefully, trade can resume shortly! I see that Skara and Vesper's seats are empty

Natalia Marais: These are dire portents hearing about monsters roaming Moonglow's streets

Natalia Marais: in truth, I have not seen any monsters in Skara and did check just prior to the meeting.
King Blackthorn: *puts scroll away* *Smiles*
Natalia Marais: As far as I can tell, things in the town itself are about back to normal, though I do hear about walking dead throughout the realm in the graveyards. Thanks to several folks running trade deals and some generous contributions of gold our treasury is still in the black and may possibly last to the end of this term.
King Blackthorn: *smiles* Very good indeed!
Natalia Marais: though we do not have a buffer, or a nice treasury like New Magincia I hope it will suffice. That is all for me.
King Blackthorn: Thank you, governor. Now, Vesper's governor is not lurking about the place, is he? *checks coin pouch*

King Blackthorn: Guards were dispatched. Perhaps the Titans slew them?
Torin: out pumpkin fields are overrun from people, who just trample them down I do everything I can ... but I miss the help of the crown

King Blackthorn: I'd suggest visiting the island's healers, to have those put back in their proper place. But, more guards will be sent to Yew
Torin: oh and a last point I saw people killing them self you need to stop that
King Blackthorn: suicide? Whatever for? Are they that depressed?
Torin: Tanager is killing her over and over... Noob Guild is laying dead..
King Blackthorn: Indeed. It will put the assassins guildsmen's noses out of joint.
