I think I remember about reporting about rabids in Nujelm....amongst my favorite cities. That being said, I'd suggest that we just blow off the whole thing and get on with more pertinent business. Just my thoughts.

Before Gooch is tried and convicted here, should we not hear all the evidence against him - or has this become a trial by consensus with no opportunity for the accused to speak?
For one, I'd like to hear his side of the story....

Plus I'm thinking about putting gm snooping on my thief to give the old coot a taste of his own medicine while he's busy defending himself...

I'm sorry, but from the start, I did not like this event. Freedom to do what you want, is a big part of playing Siege Perilous. Someone telling, you are trapped on an island for a month and will get punished if you leave is just not right for Siege.
IMO, the whole event failed badly on Siege and for many of us, it did not add any good to the game.
Now I don't know if Gooch agree to this kind of forced RP. If he do, I back off, else I would just stop this madness.

I like the Governor and City stuff as long it is good for out shard but if a thief can't steal a boat, or a char can't leave an island without it goes to a trial, someone are trying to make Siege to Trammel.
If a Governor do a bad job, he won't get voted in next time.

I play Siege because I don't want the system to tell me how to play the game and where I can go. Sometimes we need to decide if something is good for Siege or it goes against what Siege stand for.

I can't be there at that time for the Court of Truth as it is 4:30 am my time but doubt I would had been there anyway as I feel this is not what we need on Siege.

If you read through there you will see where he agreed to it an even seemed to have some fun with it. It is all in fun, nothing serious.

After thinking about it I retract my previous comments. I did run Nujelm at that time and never saw anything rabid. My bum leg I think is causing brain cramps.
