The first character I ever made in UO, just over four years ago, finally hit 120 real taming today! She is now my second legendary tamer.
At the beginning of 2008, I made up a spreadsheet to keep track of my tamer characters' skill gains, because I needed more motivation to keep plugging away at getting those taming gains. This character had 105.5 real taming on 1/1/2008, so in less than a year I was able to finish her up and reach 120 real taming. I was hoping perhaps I'd get another character to 120 taming by year-end, but she's still got 24 gains to go, so I don't think it's going to happen this year. Guess I have to shoot for my birthday now.
