Only other way i know used to work , would been transfer it off the shard , then transfer it back , then u can insure it for another char

No need to insure blessed items? Hmm.. but it says blessed for..
They changed this several years ago. 'Owned by No One' works like 'blessed' for anyone now, but it still retains the name of the first person to equip it.
It was whenever they made the change to 'Personal Bless Deeds' to allow them to bless items for every character on the same account, as opposed to just the character the bless-deed was tied to.
