Blades of insanity and axe of heavens can be had pretty cheap. Played around with them on TC.

You can drop the DI on Axe of heavens to add SSI, and drop stam leech and DI on BOI to add hit spell. Makes some nice throw away weaps for PvP as well.

wow, nice ideas esp with adjusting down the bad mods and adding in the good ones....
