*TW wakes up and rises to stir up the coals and start some coffee brewing. Imagine his pleasant surprise when he finds coffee already brewed and poured and in his mug. The fire nicely stoked, and food magically appearing periodically on the sideboard. Further inspection reveals, rib-eye steaks, and poached eggs, fruits, cereal and freshly toasted bagels with cheese.*

* TW loads up a heaping plate and moves to his regular chair by the fire.*

" mmmmmm we should have done this Butler thing years ago!"

Today is Tuesday Jan 20th 2009. Snows have appeared as far south as NC, blowing down out of the Virginia Mountains. Sounds like a good day to just snuggle up near the fire!

Thanks for the cyber-breakfast TimberWolf. Ugh...so I wake up this morning and one of my neighbors homes burnt down. No one was hurt, but I go to turn on my shower and the water has been shut off. I put on a robe walked outside and asked one of the fire-fighters when the water would be on. He said somehow "they" accidentally cut the line, and it wasn't really his department. Eewwwww. I can't stand missing my morning shower. Now I'm gonna be scuzzy all day. I'm glad no one was hurt, but I feel like a city bum. =-( Extra heavy on the deordant and a dab of patchouli.

****Walks out of kitchen sipping coffee, and munchin' on a bagel.****

Woke up this morning and we have about three inches of snow on the ground. Did I mention I live in the South? We don't "do" snow. LOL After all of my travels last winter, the snow doesn't really bother me but all the other idots getting out playing bumper cars on the interstate does! I just heard on the news, we have about 10 cars in the ditch on ONE road. Would you not think that would be a sign to, o, I don't know, STAY OFF THAT ROAD? hm?

So, I'll just let them have at it while I sit here in my nice comfy chair and warm fuzzy pj's and work remotely. Wireless VPN connection, USB headset, call center software on the laptop, yep, I can do this just fine.

*grabs a blanket and takes her coffee and wanders out to check email*

You have to love work from home customer service. I never have to worry about the road conditions. It is just a 20 sec walk to the office in my home and I am at work.

Smart to stay home Anne.....idiots driving 70 miles an hour with bald tires is never good on snow and black ice.
I know you can drive in this...hell I have taken you through worst storms at night, along the shores of Lake Huron in January.

*Pours Anne another coffee and tosses another log on the fire*
