Not too cold out today at all, though the white stuff is on its way.

*stokes the fire and tosses on a few logs watching the flames lick at them*

Ahh....such a nice feeling a warm fire is.

*starts the coffee and hot water*

I've had enough, I don't want to see another of these threads posted for the rest of the year!

I've got family in from out of state and tomorrow we're all heading out of town to visit more family, so if I don't see everyone, have a happy and safe new year.

*notices the saddened Claudia entering the tavern and walks up to her*

*Comes in carrying a shovel shaking snow clumps off his cloak and armor. Leans the shovel against the wall and then rubs hands together to warm them.*

Sidewalks is cleared of snow. Give me something to warm my cold bones, and better make it alcohol free this time. I am sure tonight I will drink enough hard stuff that I don't need any now. *Looks at everyone staring at him.* Oh and good morning...umm afternoon to all of you. I hope you have a fun evening planned to ring in the new year.

*watches as the man who just did a great service to the tavern enters*

Goodness man! You did all of that yourself?

*motions to the fire*

Have a seat, please. Warm yourself and dry your cloths. I'll bring a hot beverage over right away.

*prepares a cup of cocoa and sets it on the table in front of him*

There is plenty of warm beverages to go around. If you happen to change your mind about that alcohol thing that can be arranged as well.

*nods to Claudia*

Well I need you healthy and rested. I knew you worked too hard yesterday.

*leads her to a cot in a side room and covers her in several warm blankets. Lights the fire in the small fireplace for added warmth*

I'll be bringing you some warm chicken soup, would you like some coca to get you started?

*doesn't wait for her response and gets to preparing the coca*

*smiles to herself and closes her eyes*

Well there good sir, nice to see you about at a reasonable hour. I think I can accommodate that request as we've a fresh pot. Not that we have a lass running around taking care of our cooking needs I am trying to keep the drinks flowing a little better.

*hands the man a mug with the delectable liquid*
