I know the few of us that are left will always remember the day Wizzie really left our shard. Never again will there be a place like Wizzie's shop in Luna. The Luna Icon fell today and Luna just wont be the same again without.

I knew she was leaving. I also know she wouldnt say good bye that is her style.
If a person like Wizzie can quit after 8 years of continuous play it truly means uo is comming to the end game. Good luck to Wizzie she was super nice.

Yeah like any of us really know each other, in this online world we create.

What I do know is there was a shop right next to the luna gate. A shop that was always full of GM bamboo flutes. Legendary repair deeds not only loose, but bags of 10 so I could just throw the bag in my bank after i used however many it was I needed. Acid proof ropes, bone machettes, and runes to every peerless. All the different items I would buy almost daily on my heaviest of periods of playing.

That shop spoiled me. Noone could run a shop with such organization or ability to remain stocked and such a low price. It was a shop like I know UO will never see again. So goodbye to the walmart of UO.

And wizzie, do what ya do girl.

As many know I am still fairly new to LA so I don't have the memories of Wizzie that some do. Like Az though, I remember her shop. I remember running around with no runebooks,no full spell book, little gold,nada on my new little pirate. And there was Wizzies place offering everything I needed at a very affordable price.And she always stayed stocked up. She even gave me a vendor so I could sell the items I found at idocs to get some gold on my pirate girl.



A little off topic I saw a Lady Wizzie on Baja the other day...don't think it was the same though.But the world may never know.

I logged on LA today and couldn't believe her shop is gone. I left LA years ago, but started on day 1. Wizzie and Rose Cotton were familiar faces I always figured would be around.

You have to remember that there is only a hand full of players left in this game and Lake Austin Is basicly a sink hole. There is no pvp really and you cant talk about pvp or EL Her highness or Zig Zag her lacky will lock the thread because the trammys complain about pvp threads Dont worrie about the other two mods because they will be gone in like 6 months like the rest of the mods that fill the possition.

Pacific or Atlantic are prolly the best servers the game still has and they let people talk about pvp on stratics.

Once again...noone has a problem with talking about pvp. There is a problem with the way some choose to talk about it. Insults,name calling,etc. There is a sticky at the top of the forum..go there.

If you dislike LA so much then go away... Nice to know that while we are a sink hole we are still worthy of such attention.

I like the "sink hole". We have had a few people come to the shard and join our guild lately too. I hope LA does not get overcrowded.

There is a house - foundation only and set to private - that is owned by Wizzie on the Artic Island in Trammel. Also, character search on uo.com for Lake Austin does show a character named Wizzie so they have to have been logged on in the last 30 days. I don't know if they are the original Wizzie or a new one. I would be cautious of any assumptions of being the original and automatically trusting. I have seen a copycat of one of my characters - name and clothing etc. the same. I sometime wonder if anyone suspects me of things done by the other character. Always use caution.

Okay then. I make a post about past players who were well known on the shard and you respond with nothing related to it. Makes sense to me.
