Oh jesus the nostalgia - I was just talking randomly on a post about 56k VS ADSL (Was playing UO when finally got ADSL - could actually run much faster with a low ping...) and remembered "ERPA" and decided to google - ICQs from the guards leader/s asking me to stop hanging around so often one week when I was out of school ill (I was 14 at the time, and although quite sensible/"mature" I'd look for RP encounters around yew crossroads too often as an enemy guild). 1998 exactly ... Glad to see there's still whispers of it around. *struggles to remember character names* Wish I'd kept the screenshots ... I swapped a Yew villa not too far from the portal (tram) for a huge horrible *thinks of expansion zone, googles* Ilshenar castle because I used to farm the bejesus out of lvl5 t-maps and really struggled with item cap on the villa - ended up quitting with containers rammed with maps/weapons and was gutted when silver/power/vanq items turned into random stat weapons. Definite heyday was making Vendor weapons for RP guild and interacting with the guardsmen. Oh and perhaps using Vanq battle axes with 100 LJ to two-shot people from time to time
Maces breaking armor...
Ok I'm turning this into some weird nostalgic personal diary/talking to myself - I suppose a better comment might be "Thanks to anyone involved in making ERPA/crossroads of yew such a fantastic RP environment for me 16 years ago"
Cheers - "Balthazaar"
