When I hear about cheats like this I always get surprised to see that even though the years go by and the game is almost 12 years old, one way or the other, somehow, until now new ways eventually have come up to dupe.

I am no programmer, but I wonder what the problem may there be that makes it not possible or extremely difficult to just make it plainly impossible to dupe anything in the game once and for all.

The main problem is that until the devs know how to use a given method, they can't patch it out.

And the dupers aren't that likely to fill them in.

Popps: When you find a way to make code that can't be exploited be sure to notify Microsoft, I'm sure they'd be delighted to know.

Catlord: I applaud your actions on sending in a report on this, and I hope you filled in a feedback sheet as well as emailing a bug report, but to stop this turning into another accusation, excuse, justification etc of cheating thread (of which there have been far too many lately) I'm going to lock it. Please forgive me.
