ok played ten years, got hacked lost luna pac vendor house over 2 bill gold and rares, ask for investigation they said ok. well they found out i bought on ebay with paypal banned account but hacker still in game lol. so now they have all my transactions from ebay and paypal. problem here is there is over 100 uo tansactions from ebay ,so i have told them they have to ban all them as well sense they have names dates and amounts , i hope this does not hurt the game but once again hackers are responsible, ok still have original account 130 months working on vendor blip goes screen and vendor had 753 mill on it noe has about 3k gold lmao gms say sorry but cant trace money lmao ell i guess it time to close dowm uo its been fun ya all lol hope none of you get banned from buying items out of game they have all my info if they dont ban these peeps there may be leagal probs will see good bye good luck it really been fun !!!!

no its my fault. i bought it over 5 years ago, then person comes back uses live chat gives key code takes it back lol , they give it back stippred say oops that should not have happened lol. if it wasnt mine why did they give it back? i asked them to investigate , thats where the problem stands all people who bought or sold through me are now probly going to log in amd like me find everthing gone banned soory but as ive stated person who they said got it back wrong and only now are they looking into there who owned it security lmao not bad only took tenn years to figure out the systems wrong hehe. but again they have over 100 accounts they will have to ban soory. heres part email they sent===Hello Fellow Gamer,

Ebay ended a long long long while back the selling of virtual items and accounts., You can buy the actual pc versions ( or codes emailed) of games and irl game items ( books and stratagies) but nothing virtual. Only thing I can think of somebody found a loop hole in Ebay if the OP story is true or he bought the account before they banned the selling of virtual items. Plus if you had bought it from ebay and used paypal you are paypal protected and could of filed through them. Not sure what you mean by banned paypal account in your run on sentences unless you used a banned paypal account. In fact you should be in serious trouble with ebay if you and the seller was using illegal means to sell and buy items that are prohibited on ebay. I know about ebay because I run an online ebay business and I know the TOS you agree with ebay. Your story has to many holes in it.
Most likely he bought a stolen account from the supposedly ebay user that was dormant and the original user activated it and found a gold mine. His loss in the end. UO has its own account transfer system in place and that what the OP should of used when buying/selling accounts.

Always, if you buy an account, use the Account Transfer System
As shown by Thelma's experience, you can end up losing all that is on what you think is your secure account if you buy it cheap and don't pay the $30.....

So more or less whoever can give them the correct numbers from the gametime code or credit card used to pay for that account is the owner of that account.
So if you buy an account from a player they can take it back if they call EA before you change the payment info and make the first 30 day payment.
That's why EA created the account transfer program to make an official record of the sale or trade of the account.

If you buy an account off of xyz place and you cheap out and dont get the account officially transferred using EAs system the problem is YOUR fault . Dont blame the rich guy , or Obama or Muslims (check poster's other posts) or anyone else. You broke the rules and found out why they made those rules.

I mentioned in gen chat on Pac about his having owned properties in UO he most certainly paid cash for and maybe the websites he bought the properties from used his info to get his account, and he denied paying cash for properties in UO, but here now he says he did alot of cash sales in UO.
I think it's more a case of a fool and his gold are soon parted, in this case it's all the fool's who paid cash to buy expensive properties from him and neglected to spend the extra $30 to use EA's account transfer service.
All he has to do is call up EA to get those expensive accounts back and resell them on ebay to another fool.

This! Even if you didn't originally purchase using this you can transfer it to yourself and make it official! The OP's experience isn't even the first time this has happened.

ok folks one more time. bought account over 5 years ago. yes i have sold and bought homes and accounts on ebay over the years. now here it is one more time. yes person got on live chat with ea ,gave old code and NO SLAVE GIRL it does not matter to ea they know it was my credit card that was used on account for over 5 years. he said it was hacked from him he gave them the code and they gave it back!!! now i called ea and billing, went all the way to tier 3 they said sorry and gave it back lol stripped to the bone. im not complaining here it been a good ride with 8 nephews and all but there gone to wow and warhammer etc. imytrying to tell all of you i asked ea to investigate they did found out i bought [ my bad ] the account, this was after they gave it back . when they found out then they banned it lol. i gave them the person i got it from invoice and the name icq# and persons real name ive even talked to the guy in game lol he laughs about it. but in looking at all the tranactions over 100 this becomes a problem for all who bought from me or i bought from as they are recieving all transactions. names dates email everthing. im sorry for my typing im disabled. almost 60 yes an old fart in game lol hard to do sometimes. just everyone please go and use transfer as im sure now people know how easy it is there going to be checking all there codes and trying to get them back. but it only computer pixals so no problem if you lose it all rite thanx all.

ok, so old owner gave code to ea customer service, EA must have thought/was told that the account was stolen so they returned it. old owner strips everything off of it and left it. Thelma logs on to see its stripped and contacts EA customer service. EA of course gives her the runaround and makes her jump through hoops thinking she can get some of the items back, of course most people know that no matter what, EA will not return any lost items. or at least they are not supposed to. So instead of telling her this outright they just passed her problems off. During her experiences with EA she must have let them know the account was bought by her through non EA means (ebay, etc) So EA decides to end the problem simply by banning account and ignoring any other inquiries into the matter. Thelma takes it as "Anyone who buys game items/accounts with RL money will be banned if EA gets proof." She gave warning i think meaning that anyone that has done RL transactions for game stuff from her, that EA has that info. So essentially shes trying to warn anyone that may have bought game stuff for RL money that they need to beware.
This is just how i read it. so what ive wrote is just a speculation as to what happened.

So u are basically telling everyone to buy as many old tattered boxed copies from 2nd hand shops and car boot sales as they possibly can... then all they have to do is ring EA up.. say they got hacked 5-8 years ago.. and they will instantly get an account they have never ever seen/played or paid for in there life!!!! just because they have got an old code on the tattered box cd cover they just bought for 50 cents form a carboot!!!
