Yeah, it was a pretty lame way to score but I think it evens out when you consider Altidore's shot that should have gone in.

I've only heard it called "Round of 16" - Then Quarterfinals, then Semi-finals, and Final.Enjoy it while you can. We'll send you home soon enough.

They do call it "Group Stage" and then "Knockout Stage" tho.

The England goalie has a fitting name 'Green' all butterfingers and nerves, which I suppose can be expected for one so new and inexperienced, and I doubt if letting that goal in will do much for his confidence within the rest of the team...no matter what they say in public.
I'm rooting for England but only because my son is English and wants them to win, and my own team, Scotland didn't get through (the buggers)
I think Germany looks the strongest team so far, they had a great game, and I'm looking forward to watching more of them.

Aye, was a great game. Wish i could tell the same about the german game before the US game, cause of the streaming servers being overstrained. Must have been a crappy game tho.
There were lots of vuvuzelas (or whatever way you spell those annoying horns) outside the office building so lots of germans enjoyed the us game.
