Do we have GM support on the weekends?
If so do we only have one up at a time?

Just getting curious since I paged at 610 am and its now 910..
started at number 16.. have managed to work my way all the way to... 14 ~!

My guess is Mythic shares gms between games, so there should be gms about.
On the other hand I guess they are busy with the other games more than with UO or DAoC.

Though the Sims Gms might be in training for UO now ...so maybe it will pick up?

In short there are gms but they have certainly orders to help in other games first and then in the 'older' ones.

what were you paging for? Just occasionally, when you get a canned response, it's something that can be fixed if you know how. Worth a try anyway?

2 Years ago you use to be able to decorate with almost every quest item.

More specifically, the boxes from travesty that said stolen goods.

You no longer can. When i re customized my house last year, they all went into my moving crate and I couldn't get them out.

Now, I can move them into my backpack (from the moving crate) but even still, I cannot do the quests on any of those characters that can access the moving crate.

I took one and tried to trade it to a character that could, but you can't trade them.
Also tried to drop it.

Most of the boxes lead to sanctuary, my house owner account on there is all crafters.
I've tried dying to remove a box, they're blessed.

I've had multiple friends and alliance mates tell me they've paged to have quest items stuck in their packs or houses removed without an issue.

I had to wait almost 4 hours to be sent a canned response.

I need the lock down space but apparently i wont be getting it.

I don't really understand why they bother with no-drop quest items in the first place... Why not just make them normal items?!

Anyway, there is a fairly straight forward way to drop these, which I have seen posted on here before so I will do so now. (Petra - I am not sure if this counts an exploit or not?! So apologies in advance if it is!)

Basically, put a non-spell channeling item in your hand. Fill your back pack so you have 125 items in it. Attempt to cast a magery spell. (It doesn't matter if you can cast it or not, use recall from a runebook for example.) This will drop the item from your hand into your back pack, making it 126 items - 1 over the limit. Now drag the quest item you wish to drop, and as it can't go in your backpack, it will drop on the floor!

Hmm. Don't drag it to a container, drag it onto your backpack I think...

As far as I know there is no way to get them into containers.

I've tried dragging it to my backpack (Says that container cannot hold more items)
Dragging it to a trash barrel (Nothing happens)
Dragging it to the ground (Nothing happens)
Dragging it to another container locked down (nothing happens)
Dragging it to another container not locked down (nothing happens)

You sure it says 126/125 items when you drag it?

Even stranger... I have just tried it with a Stolen Property Crate, and it worked for me! Are you inside your house?

I do get the message - container cannot hold more items, but it still drops the quest item to the floor if I drag it to (or in) my backpack. (The backpack on the paper doll, OR within the backpack itself.)

Try it in a different spot perhaps? (If you haven't already!)

Sorry that I can't offer any new ways to help you. Whenever I've had things stuck in my backpack, GMs always came fairly quickly to help me.

And, I called a GM yesterday, and he contacted me within 5 minutes and even after we chatted and things were fixed, I was still 14th in line, which made me giggle. Hehe

I figured it out. I need to put the box in my pack as one of the 125 items, and then try to drag it after i use a spell to make it 126 items.
I was trying to move it from the moving crate to drop it on the ground or in my pack.
